Don’t get me wrong, I think ISO methodologies are solid and very useful. It is just a matter of whether they are required, or if they command the same degree of respect like outside of the US.
For example “ISO 9000 certified” doesn’t mean anything to the great majority of people in business in US.
I have done business Internationally extensively, so I understand the value, but the effort of getting certified can be really costly.
